Hi.

I’m Mike, Executive Producer and Director at Selman Design. I began my career in the finance industry, building and fostering relationships with high net-worth individuals; ultimately excelling to the top of my previous company prior to transitioning career paths. I’ve always gravitated towards a management role and in the fall of 2014, I decided to apply my experience to the creative field.

Facilitating all areas of project management between clients, partners, vendors and your core team is no easy task. It’s believe it’s art, in and of itself; and not one to be overlooked or underestimated. I'm constantly being inspired by the work I do and by the people who make it happen. For me, it’s not just the most talented people in the room who you want on your team, it’s the ones who keep reminding you why you love doing the work you do.

Being apart of a smaller creative studio sometimes means that you have to wear many hats. Some examples of day-to-day responsibilities include management, production, strategy, business development, operations, and art direction/design. Having experience in these fields has made me a more well-rounded professional and constantly pushes me to keep learning.
